 Cream Teas
Cream teas are served daily in the courtyard at Powdermills between Easter and October half term. Locally-made scones are served with lashings of clotted cream sourced from Dartmoor's dairy farm only 7 miles away, and heaps of Devon's awarding-winning strawberry jam. Even the tea is blended in the South West. All served, of course, in Powdermills pots.
Take the time to relax and treat yourself to our cream tea whilst soaking up views of tors, streams and wild moorland landscape.
** NEW FOR WINTER 2011/2: Winter Teas: Until Easter, a selection of hot and cold drinks and the 'Homemade Cake of the Day' will be served at weekends in The Shop, next to the woodburner. Cream Teas will begin when the pottery moves to Summer opening hours at Easter.**
