Fernando Garcia, although based in Grazelema, Spain, has become very much one of the Powdermills family. Our neighbouring company, Spirit of Adventure, employs his wife as their walking guide in Spain, and frequently stay in Fernando's house with Jo and their children. Fernando often threatens to spend a summer leather-making at Powdermills, and we very much look forward to the day when family commitments allow him to.
Fernando Garcia designs and makes leather bags, all of which are hand-crafted and sewn from fine-quality leather, using techniques and tools which date from the middle-ages. Each is unique, and never repeated.
